null NATA Praises The IRS For Excise Tax Resolution

NATA may be the only group in town with kind words for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Representing ground operations and logistics businesses at airports across the country, NATA recently resolved an impasse with the tax service. NATA President & CEO Tom Hendricks met with FAA Administrator Michael P. Huerta on May 13 about general aviation safety. At the close of the meeting, Mr. Huerta agreed to write a letter to the general aviation community asking for their personal commitment to making sure they are prepared each time they fly. nullNext NATA Safety 1st Auditor Training to Be Held In June

NATA announced its next NATA Safety 1st Ground Auditor Training program will be held June 25 and 26 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The NATA Safety 1st Ground Audit Standard is a single audit standard for ground handling facilities, such as FBOs, that aims to raise the standard of safety throughout the industry and eliminate the need for multiple annual audits. Individuals interested in becoming an accredited auditor must submit an application, meet the minimum requirements, and complete the NATA Safety 1st Ground Auditor Training program.
