NATA Statement on the Announcement of Deborah Hersman’s New Post 

Alexandria, VA, March 13, 2014 – The following is a statement by National Air Transportation Association President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks:

“NATA and our colleagues at the Air Charter Safety Foundation have always valued the strong leadership and collaborative relationship with Chairman Hersman during her terms leading the NTSB. Her dedication and proactive approach to safety and risk management has proven to be invaluable to our industry. This continued improvement in aviation safety performance will be the hallmark of her long and distinguished tenure on the board. We look forward to working with her in her new role at the National Safety Council.”
