Member Alert: Assisting in the Aftermath of Hurricane Ida

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by Hurricane Ida in Louisiana and the Gulf region.

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) is partnering with Aerobridge to aid the Louisiana-Gulf area. If you have a desire to support, there is still a tremendous need for supplies and flight services to staging locations in Pensacola, FL, and Beaumont, TX.

Interested parties should contact NATA SVP Ryan Waguespack at ryanw@nata.aero to learn more about this initiative and how you can help.

NATA thanks our members who are currently assisting those in need. From generous humanitarian donations to collecting supplies and providing fuel, food, and other amenities for emergency service crews, NATA aviation business members across the nation are executing essential services to support critical Hurricane Ida relief efforts.

For general press inquiries, contact Shannon Chambers at 703-298-1347 or schambers@nata.aero

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has been the voice of aviation business for more than 80 years. Representing nearly 3,700 aviation businesses, NATA’s member companies provide a broad range of services to general aviation, the airlines and the military and NATA serves as the public policy group representing the interests of aviation businesses before Congress and the federal agencies.
