NATA Congratulates Garret Graves for Being Named Chair of Aviation Subcommittee

Washington, DC, January 27, 2023 – Today, National Air Transportation Association (NATA) President and CEO Curt Castagna congratulated the new Chair of the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Aviation, Rep. Garret Graves (R-LA).

“Rep. Garret Graves has distinguished himself as a forward-thinking champion of the U.S. aviation industry, with proven policy expertise and an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing our membership as well as business aviation’s immense potential for continued evolution with new technology and sustainable innovation. The Association has worked closely with Rep. Graves in the past, both on legislative initiatives in his role as the Subcommittee Ranking Member and on efforts to champion our essential industry. At an NATA General Aviation Advancing America event at Houma-Terrebonne Airport in Louisiana, Graves joined community leaders, airport stakeholders, and NATA leadership in highlighting the critical humanitarian services provided by general and business aviation in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. NATA congratulates Rep. Graves on his well-deserved appointment to lead the Subcommittee on Aviation in the 118th Congress, and we look forward to continued collaboration with him and his staff on critical legislation to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration.”
