IMPORTANT DATES! Safety 1st Training Center – New Learning Management System (LMS) Transition

To facilitate a smooth transition to the new Safety 1st Training Center, there are several KEY DATES and details you need to know.

The last day and time to complete training in the current LMS is June 26th at 23:59 CDT. The current LMS will remain online for records-only access through June 28th, before going dark until July 1st to prepare for the launch of NATA’s new LMS.

 

While nearly all our current course content will be immediately available in the new LMS, the following courses will be unavailable on the July 1st launch date. Any recurrent training required in the below courses must occur prior to June 26th:

AFC001-Intro to Flight Coordination

AFC002- The National Airspace System

AFC003- Regulations and Requirements for AFC’s

AFC004- Aviation Weather for AFC’s

AFC005- Airports Runways and Performance

AFC006- Flight Coordinator Resource Management

SGH002- Regulated Garbage

SGH003- HAZMAT Will Not Carry

To summarize:

  • June 26th at 23:59 CDT –  last day and time to complete training in the current LMS.

  • June 27th – June 28th – current LMS will be online for records-only access.

  • June 29th – 30th – current LMS will be offline.

  • July 1st – the new Safety 1st Training Center will be live.
